INNOVATING ORGANIC FELT

Hello! We are KUN, a company that combines the nature’s intelligence with traditional knowledge and technology for creating natural felt fabrics of unbeatable performance.

We work with natural fibers of animal and vegetable origin, such as alpaca and sheep wool. We take advantage of the millions of years that nature spent to make these materials versatile, ultra resistant and thermoregulable. These properties can not be exceeded by any synthetic fiber.

In addition, we have combined the wisdom of ancient civilizations with science to produce high quality organic felt. Felt is one of the oldest textiles made by man. We combine traditional felting techniques, improved and passed down from generation to generation, with high-end technology. This way we obtain natural felt fabrics that adapt to different uses in the industry of Clothing and accessories, Packaging and cases and Home and crafts.

ORGANIC FIBERS THAT ARE GOOD FOR THE NATURE

The devastating impact of synthetic materials on the planet makes us rethink the way we relate to the environment. Admiration is not enough, that’s why at KUN we observe and get inspired by creation to create smart products that are 100% organic, cruelty free and have low environmental impact.

To achieve this balance, we work under a total traceability scheme -that is to say, we advise and accompany our suppliers throughout the production of our natural felt fabrics. This process allows us to minimize our carbon footprint, while also elevating our quality standards to the fullest.

FELT: UNITY MAKES STRENGTH

To create felt of high performance, its important to foster favorable conditions for natural fibers to strongly tie together. This principle of interconnection not only allows us to create high quality natural felt fabrics, it has also become the cornerstone of our philosophy.

Our products are the result of the joint work of a large network of people. This network is formed by caretakers of sheep and alpacas, producers of vegetable fibers, associations of peasants; as well as entities that strengthen economic and social development and companies with social purposes.
